Waiting For ADSR3 Grand Prize Winner...

The ADSR3 ended this past Sunday. It was an awesome 6 weeks that challenged me out of my comfort zone, taught me new ways to scrap, and gave me the opportunity to meet some incredible ladies that share my scrapping passion.

THE NUMBERS: (taken from the ADSR blog)
1 - team given two numbers (see, even we screw up sometimes!)
2 - babies born (that we know of)
4 - Phoenix teams (teams created from the ashes of former teams)
6 - weeks of ADSR3
33 - teams that were not able to complete the race
186 - teams left standing at the end
216 - number of teams that started the race
220 - total team numbers assigned
4,047 - challenge layouts uploaded
13,323 - comments left (and counting)
Unknown - number of those comments left by frani_54 (Thanks Fran!)
Also, number of hours logged by mummakat and Susan – s3js helping us verify layouts (Thanks Kat and Susan!)
Unknowable - number of elements used in Challenges 7 and 10!
Countless - Questions asked and (hopefully) answered

Textin' Template Layout: 01-Love

It's only been recently that I started using templates. (Since winning a bunch for completing an ADSR3 challenge.) I'm so used to my artistic/freehand style of scrapbooking, and the templates offer a bit more structure...not a natural gift for me...LOL!! However, Veronica just created new templates that are right up my ally overflowing with artistic flair!! They're called Textin' Templates and are absolutely amazing. (Now if I can learn how to twist my text into swirls in PSP like she did in PS...hehehe)

JOURNALING READS:
And Spring arose on the garden fair,
Like the Spirit of Love felt everywhere;
And each flower and herb on Earth's dark breast
rose from the dreams of its wintry rest.
~Percy Bysshe Shelley, "The Sensitive Plant"

Bloom N Grow

Today, I came across a photo of my nephew Josiah that was taken December 10, 2007. I can't believe how much he has grown since then!! He just looked too precious in this pose, that I had to scrap him...lol!!
