I Feel Like I've Been Hit By A Mack Truck...lol

It's hard to lift my arms...each feel like they weigh a TON!! It hurts to turn my head...my neck feels like it's on fire. But no matter...I've accomplished everything I set out to do in my kitchen this weekend!! *would do happy dance...but afraid I might pull something...lol*

I am totally LOVING the painting technique I did on the walls...a blending of the same color...one part just watered down. I think this photo shows the blended design the best...


The watered paint actually came out with more of a yellow tint, and with all of the texture added to the wall, the play of shadows and colors are just amazing!!

I have to give a huge THANK YOU to Sherry for introducing me to LaVon Curtis's Vinyl Lettering!! I ordered "Welcome to our kitchen ~ the heart of our home" and it will be placed on the doorway frame featured in the above photo leading into our den. It's suppose to arrive in the next 3-4 days!!

I'm off to bed now...really hard to keep eyes open. See ya tomorrow with my weekly meal planning!! :D
